Annual Staff Golf Tournament
|
On Sunday July 11th, our staff headed to Cottonwood Golf Course for a friendly round of golf. Although a good portion of the staff are not avid golfers, there was still a lot of fun to be had. Prizes were awarded to the team with the lowest score, as well as the team with the highest score and two people won for most balls lost during the game. Donations were made from local businesses in Nanaimo and were used as prizes for all of our contests. Thanks to the staff that enjoyed their day and thank you to the businesses, including Cottonwood, that helped make this day so special.

| The Starting and Charging System
Turning your vehicle on, and keeping it there:
|
There is a Starting and Charging System in every vehicle. The system is vital to keep it running like the day it was driven off the lot. There are three sections that the service department is going to look at. First is the battery; this provides energy to start the engine. The battery also protects other parts of the engine from high-voltage power surges. Next, they will look over the Starter Motor. The Starter Motor cranks the engine over. This is to get the vehicle started and once it is running, the Alternator will recharge the battery, and control the power going to the vehicles electrical system. To keep this seemingly small system running smoothly, the best defense is to have the service department do what they do best. which is to check your vehicle for anything that might cause you grief. No one wants to be being stranded somewhere with a dead battery.
